Overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio, Rapallo invites you to slow down among the palm trees of the promenade, the colorful facades and the alleys of the historic center, where you will find its shops and clubs offering many opportunities to taste a focaccia, stop for an aperitif or discover Ligurian cuisine. The location is also convenient for exploring the surroundings: Portofino, with its famous square and houses gathered around the small port, can also be reached by sea. By train, it is easy to get to Camogli, a small gem among colorful houses and sea views, or to Genoa for a day among the alleys of the historic center, the Old Port and its famous Aquarium. Then, don't miss the ascent to the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Montallegro: the cable car journey already offers a special perspective on the coast. At the top, amidst the greenery and tranquility of the sanctuary, a magnificent panorama opens up over the Gulf of Tigullio, with Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure and the promontory of Portofino.
How to get there
