The area
The apartment is located in the center of Santa Margherita Ligure, a few steps from the sea and the seafront promenade. The area is lively and full of shops, typical restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors, ideal for those who want to experience everything within reach without having to use the car. The tourist port, from which boats leave for Portofino and the other towns on the Riviera, is easily reachable on foot. It is a comfortable and characteristic neighborhood, perfect for breathing in the true Ligurian atmosphere.
How to get there
Getting around the surrounding area is simple even without a car: the Santa Margherita Ligure-Portofino train station is nearby and conveniently connects Rapallo, Genoa and the Cinque Terre. Numerous buses serve the coastal area and the Portofino Park, while in the summer months boats connecting the main seaside resorts, such as Portofino and Paraggi, are also active. As for parking, free spaces in the center are limited, especially in high season. There are several paid car parks available nearby, such as those in the station area, Miramare and Vittorio Veneto. Alternatively, it is possible to book a parking space in advance via special platforms. If you arrive by car, you may have to walk a short distance or use a taxi from the car park to the accommodation.
